Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a raised Ordnungspolizei insignia, the reverse bearing an oval medallion overlaid by an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER POLIZEI (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE POLICE), unmarked, measuring 42. 97 mm
